The Strongest Soccer Team Chadwick has ever had?
The Chadwick Boys Soccer team is stronger than EVER!
Last week Friday and Saturday, the varsity boys’ soccer team had their first official KAIAC games of the season against YISS and TCIS.
Despite the concern of the “different type of field” YISS have and having to travel a long way to go against TCIS, the boys were too strong to be stopped by any means.
Against YISS on their first ever KAIAC game of the season, they finished the game with a powerful score of 5:0. In this game, Thomas Kong (11) scored 2 goals, and Nate Kim (10 / Captain), Sultan Mohsen (12), and finally Elijah Kim (9) each scored 1 goal.
Continuing on their great Chadwick legacy to be remembered, they finished the second game against TCIS 7:0. In this game, Sultan Mohsen (12) scored 2, Nate Kim (11), Lucas Kim (10), Joshua Byun (9), Jinwoo Choi (9) each scored a goal, and the final goal was an OG(own goal).
With their amazing winning streak, I asked Nate Kim (11), the captain of the team, how Chadwick varsity soccer stacks up against other teams in the league.
“We’re the best team in the league, without any doubt. We have a lot to go, but we are certainly not afraid of any team in the league. They should really watch out for us as we are stronger than ever.”
We also asked Coach Snipes the same question.
“Chadwick soccer has been a strong team for many years. But this year, it is possible that we may have the strongest team ever in Chadwick history. I have no doubt that we are the strongest team in the league.”
So far this season the boys have proven they may be the best ever, especially after the victory over our perennial rivals SFS 2-1 last week.
GO WICK!
