From Zero to Hero

Chadwick Track & Field Team on a Rising Curve

Varsity Track & Field team after their second track & field meet of the season at Humphreys High School

The track and field team of Chadwick International had a rough time last season, coming in last place in KAIAC. However, the team was determined to turn things around this year. And they have. Last Saturday, the team had their second track and field meet of this season at HHS and has placed in fourth place for boys and fifth for girls out of seven teams, showing no signs of slowing down.

The team credits their success to a combination of hard work, dedication, and a renewed focus on team building through athletes focusing on their strong events. They’ve been putting in extra hours at practice, pushing each other to be better, and encouraging one another through every race.

Their latest meet was a testament to their improved performance. The team competed against tough opponents, but they held their own and even managed to snag a few first-place finishes. Although they did not come in 1st, the energy of the team was higher than ever, with teammates cheering each other on from the sidelines and congratulating each other after every race.

With a renewed sense of confidence and a strong work ethic, Chadwick International’s track and field team is poised to continue climbing the ranks and making their school proud.
