As the autumn breeze rustles through the colorful leaves and the nights grow longer, there is undeniable excitement in the air. October 31st is just around the corner–and students will stay on the “haunted” campus until it’s late. It is the time of the year when students transform into their favorite characters, bringing a touch of true enchantment to the school community. In the midst of cobwebs and eerie decorations, the upcoming Halloween event planned by several student groups at our school promises to be a celebration like no other.
Looking back at the tragedy of last year’s Itaewon Halloween Crowd Crush, the Chadwick community also took part in mourning for the victims, canceling the planned Halloween events. Now, there is even more anticipation surrounding this year’s celebration.
With a total number of fifty members from the ASB (All-Student Body), Student Council, and the UNITE Council, the event is undergoing intense and comprehensive planning steps. Starting from the iconic haunted house, there will be games, tarot, and even clubs selling food for greater enjoyment. In the haunted house, challenging missions will be tasked to the students who will be looking for the exit. Bringing a date is also an option!
The date for the Upper School Halloween event is the 1st of November, when early action submissions are over for the seniors, thanks to the consideration of council members. As this date slowly approaches, decide on a costume on your own or with your friends. Excitements up – prepare for the upcoming charm of this year’s Halloween!
